Paddle day

Sikker baby monitor warns you if baby gets sick

The Sikker (Danish for safety) is a jack of all trades baby monitor, radio, alarm clock, and watch. One bracelet stays on baby; the other on parent. The units work in tandem with the base station to transmit basic biometric data about baby’s condition like temperature. I think this is a great idea but I wonder if having a Wi-Fi transmitter right on your newborn’s wrist is such a good idea.

Depending on the price I guess I would try it. Well lets keep an eye on new technologies. 

Back from vacation

Hello my lovelies,

After 6 weeks off, I am finally back on internet. I had the chance to travel to Brazil where I had an amazing time with 6 friends that were traveling with me. As we were 7 people and most of us enjoy going for a run early morning we decided to go everyday to Copacabana's Beach to jog. It was amazingly beautiful.

Trift Glacier - Amazing Bridge

Trift Bridge is one of the most spectacular pedestrian suspension bridges of the Alps. It is 100 meters high and 170 meters long, and is poised above the region of the Trift Glacier.

Last weekend I had a few friends coming over for dinner, I thought it would be a great idea to do a Chocolate Mousse for dessert, I also included a homemade chocolate Marshmallow, my guests said it was delicious but perhaps a bit too heavy on the stomach :)

Good morning my Lovelies,

How are you? I found this drawing really interesting and in my case so true, I have to admit that I have on my shelf at least 20 books that I'm willing to read, some people start reading a new book and automatically buy a new one, which means that you end up with a shelf full of books that you can't read all at the same time. Well I think we should simply enjoy life and stories, so if that means having books all around your bed that is fine :)

Fiskebar in Antwerp

The restaurant looks very cozy and chic and the display of fish proved the fish had to be very fresh. Regarding the crowd you can conclude it is a very popular place in Antwerp. Many well dressed people walked in, and lots of champagne bottles were popped. Besides this trendy atmosphere the prices are very reasonable. For €18,- you could have a main course. On the walls they have the menu’s. On the one hand they serve very basic fresh fish like lobster, tuna steak and all that kind of fish. But on the other hand they have daily specialties. These were absolutely delicious.

The View-Master

I remember as a kid we were enjoying watching images through the View-Master which was for us amazing at that time :)
