Sit in a dark room and observe something bright and shining with the new “shining pillow“. It is so beautiful to put your arms around something soft and shining and cuddle up to it, don’t you think?
I think this is a truly wonderful idea by Diana Yu-Ju Lin.

Cookie Dipping Mug
An ingenius cookie dipping mug designed by Entlo. 1A. This design adds an ingenious touch to a mug with a rim shaped in such a way that you can dunk in the whole cookie, sideways. Now only if you can master the art of putting the cookie fast enough into your mouth….before the soggy end falls off!
Dunk Mug
Dominic Skinners's Dunk Mug; an amusing alternative to the mundane coffee mug we see everyday; This one has got a very smart built in compartment for some sweet little cookie treats. Loveable Design, available in right & left handed versions in a few different colours. Would love to have one.
Saša Antic
I found out about Swedish stylist Saša Antic on Emmas Design Blog and thought I'd share some pictutres with you today.
The clever shoe storage solution are great, I am moving flat in two weeks therefore I'll organise the same in my storage room. Can't wait to do that.

The Brooklyn Home Company
Lyndsay Caleo and Fitzhugh Karol flip properties, but only after they have made them more appealing. Three years back, Caleo, a jewelry designer, and Karol, who has a master’s in ceramics and designs furniture, partnered with Lyndsay’s brother Bill to form the Brooklyn Home Company, which renovates (or builds) properties for sale. They design the projects as if they were our own home, searching all over for salvaged architectural elements. The Park Slope brownstone here, however, they kept for themselves. It “just felt right” despite rotted floors and a fire-damaged ceiling. And their goal was to make it hark back to their past. They both grew up in the country, that's why they designed the house to be an escape from the city. If I had to choose an interior for my house it would definitely be one like this, cause it is in the middle of the city, but with a touch of wood and nature in it.

Typical South-Swedish Cottages
In the south part of Sweden there are typical houses called “Skånelänga”. A Skånelänga is built on a half-timber and brick frame, and has plastered (white) facade with visible half-timber. Let me show you an example, currently for sale with the agent Uppvik & döttrar. This first one is called “Knäbäckshusen”:
It is simple, cosy and southern Sweden-rustic: Country-Danish within the Swedish and Scandinavian style borders. Interiors below.
Now, look inside for another sweet Swedish ‘Country Danish’ Skånelänga – This house, “Lilla Beddinge”, was built in the late 18th century.
